      titled “Ambulatory sagittal split ramus osteotomy: strategy for enhanced recovery after surgery”, on outpatient sagittal split ramus osteotomy (SSRO). However, we were disappointed not to find the article by Raffaini et al.

      The sagittal mandibular osteotomy under local anesthesia and intravenous sedation: four years of multicenter experience.
      titled “The sagittal mandibular osteotomy under local anesthesia and intravenous sedation: four years of multicenter experience” cited in the References list. This article was published 20 years ago in the International Journal of Adult Orthodontics and Orthognathic Surgery, a journal that is no longer published, unfortunately. In that collaborative multicentre study, a sample of 35 patients undergoing bilateral SSRO under local anaesthesia and intravenous sedation, performed on an outpatient basis, was analysed.
