The International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons shall be the global representative of the community of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons. IAOMS shall support the improvement of patient care thorough the international facilitation of: The establishment and implementation of education and training guidelines; The establishment of patient care standards; Research; and Professional communication.
